In a nonpartisan effort to increase engagement among college-age voters, nonprofit Hillel International targeted 150 college campuses across the United States for participation in its annual #MitzVote campaign, geared to drive voter education and participation among college students. As part of the outreach, distributor Sonic Promos (PPAI 288270, D3) in Gaithersburg, Maryland, designed packages meant to build excitement about the MitzVote project and supported those efforts with tangible, useful and easily distributable branded items.

Created to meet student requests for information about voting, MitzVote offers a variety of online and in-person programs that strive to support a wide range of voter‐centric priorities. These include increased voter registration, applicable Jewish civics education, non‐partisan voter education, supporting early voting, volunteerism for election protection and working at the polls.

Sonic Promos’ #MitzVote boxes were made available to each of the participating campuses. These kits came in a variety of sizes and included educational collateral, masks for safe interactions and stickers, and arrived in a decorated package. Students and campus leaders were encouraged to share their kit openings online through social channels. Sonic Promos also created an online portal for campuses to purchase additional supplies. Proceeds generated by these ongoing purchases support Hillel’s efforts. The group is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world, working with thousands of college students globally.
