NC Custom Wins Premier Group’s Supplier Performance Award

NC Custom (PPAI 111662, S7)) has been selected by Premier Group Network as recipient of this year’s Paul Smith Supplier Performance Award in the revenue category over $50 million.

  • The annual award is presented to a Premier Group Network supplier that exemplifies excellence in quality of products, marketing support, internal customer service support, outside sales support, problem resolution and management support. Members submit nominations and award winners are celebrated at Premier Group Network’s annual meeting, which took place this week. 
  • Among the company’s top initiatives that led to its selection this year are its dedication to U.S.-based manufacturing and customer service, the acquisition of Fresh Beginnings and increased capabilities in all product lines.

Proforma Spectrum Graphics Acquires DataGuide

Proforma (PPAI 196835, D13) announces that Jay Vento, president and owner of Proforma Spectrum Graphics, has completed his acquisition of DataGuide, a Boston, Massachusetts-based printing and promotional products distributor valued at more than $3 million. 

  • Vento has been with the Proforma family for nearly 35 years and is a member of its 10 Million Dollar Club. 
  • He credits Proforma with helping him with the acquisition including introducing him to the initial opportunity, negotiating the contract and handling onboarding and training of the DataGuide team.
  • DataGuide President Chris Higgins says the company looked at a number of potential acquirers and Proforma Spectrum Graphic “presented the best potential as they have the industry’s best technology and resources to assure our continued growth and success.”
