Ariel Premium Supply Donates Nearly $25,000 to Environmental Causes
Ariel Premium Supply is pleased to share that its newly created environmental and social responsibility program has so far raised $24,782 to support key global environmental initiatives. The program, initiated in August and only 2 months old, is simple -- $1.00 is donated for every order placed by Ariel's distributor customers. Through this distributor participation, Ariel Premium and customers alike are making important contributions to the environment. With this early success, Ariel Premium committed to continuing the program to drive more awareness to protect our planet.
The donations are shared monthly between Rainforest Trust and The Ocean Cleanup. Rainforest Trust focuses on tropical-based initiatives targeting preserving land, species and indigenous peoples. The Ocean Project is dedicated to unique solutions to clean up the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Each is making a significant impact to protect and clean up our environment.
"We are very pleased to do what small part we can for the environment and preservation," says Yuhling Lu, owner of Ariel Premium. "It also allows distributors to participate and contribute to these causes through their purchasing power," she adds.

Pop! Promos Announces New Sustainability Efforts and Community Initiatives
Pop! Promos announces new corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts undertaken by its newly established CSR committee that further its commitment to making a positive impact in the promotional products industry and the world.
Environmental Sustainability
Pop! Promos has established a goal of eliminating 100% of single-use plastic from its production operations by 2025. Its initiatives to eliminate polybags from its most popular products have already reduced annual virgin plastic use by over 13,000 lbs. per year. That’s a little more plastic removed from the environment per year than the weight of four Toyota Priuses. Additionally, Pop! Promos’ product development team has set a goal of adding at least five new products each year to its Eco Line made from recycled or organic materials.
Looking to counteract the harms freight and transportation have on our environment, Pop! Promos now proudly partners with UPS to offset its carbon emissions on all domestic shipments on its account through Carbon Offsets. These offsets finance greenhouse gas emissions reductions projects around the world. As of August 1, 2022 all domestic shipments sent on Pop! Promos’ UPS account are designated as carbon neutral.
Pop! Promos also announced that as of September 1st of this year, the company’s Philadelphia headquarters runs on 100% renewable energy.
“I’m pleased with the amount of progress we’ve made since assembling our CSR committee this past spring,” said Sterling Wilson, president, Pop! Promos. “A greater focus on environmental sustainability is something our team has been advocating for and I’m impressed by the high level of participation we’ve gotten from team members across departments in our CSR committee. This is just the beginning.”
Corporate Social Responsibility
Every quarter, Pop! Promos organizes events to give back to its community. This quarter, company employees raised $1,200 in funds to purchase school supplies for local teachers and students, and also donated supplies directly to a neighborhood elementary school. Previous community outreach efforts have included weeding and preparing a local community garden to ready the space for a farm stand, stuffing toiletry bags for homeless shelters, and holding food drives for local organizations working throughout the city.
Additionally, Pop! Promos has contributed over $7,000 in donations – enough to feed over 14,000 neighbors – to Philabundance, an organization that works to relieve hunger and provide food security for communities in need in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Pop! Promos president Sterling Wilson is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Regional Board for Playworks, an organization that helps millions of children to stay active and build valuable life skills through play. Pop! Promos regularly contributes to Playworks’ mission through company-wide fundraising, donating over $18,000 to the cause, to provide children of Philadelphia with safe, healthy spaces to learn, play, and grow.
Pop! Promos is redefining what custom means in the promotional branded merchandise world by establishing and leading the rapid importer category. With a product line that features full-color and Pantone matched products with thousands of decoration options and no stock issues, Pop! Promos offers distributors the ability to step away from single-color, single imprint products, and offer their clients something that was manufactured with their brand DNA inside.
