Promotional Products Professionals of Canada (PPPC) has announced a strategic partnership with PromoKitchen to create more education, mentorship and networking opportunities within the Canadian promo community.

  • PPPC is a not-for-profit association that facilitates business and knowledge growth for the Canadian promotional products community. It has similarly aligned values with PPAI, and the two associations have frequently collaborated.
  • PromoKitchen is an all-volunteer organization that brings together suppliers, distributors and service providers in order to further the education of industry professionals and elevate the industry status through mentorship opportunities. It was founded in 2011 and has grown to touch countless members of the promo world since.

“PPPC is pleased to be teaming up with PromoKitchen to shine a brighter light on their mentorship program to our membership so they can take advantage of this great opportunity to elevate their business game and grow their networks,” says Paul Wieleba, PPPC board chair and president of {WE} Promotional Advertising.

PromoKitchen’s experience and track record creating educational and mentorship programs aligns with PPPC’s key strategic focus to provide networking and professional development opportunities for its members.

The partnership was formed with the goal of creating a synergistic relationship that encourages industry advancement, fosters quality mentorship opportunities, develops the skills of PPPC’s membership and increases opportunities for collaboration.

Two initial elements will make up the focus of the partnership:

  • Networking opportunities: Creating platforms that encourage positive collisions between promo professionals to share ideas and develop their network, especially through membership.
  • Enhanced educational programs: This will consist of webinars, new educational content and intentional mentorship opportunities.

“With numerous Canadian leaders on our board and in our community, this collaboration is set to bring about exciting opportunities,” says Ashley Colautti, board chair, PromoKitchen and director of new markets for Spector & Co. “At PromoKitchen, our vision has always been to foster industry conversations that yield benefits for all involved.

“By joining forces, we aim to streamline efforts and leverage the extensive PK professional mentorship network and program creating a stronger more diverse community. This strategic alliance is a significant step towards driving further growth in the PromoKitchen ecosystem.”

Colautti was named Promo Kitchen’s board chair last January along with six new board members.
