To commemorate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, ADG Promotional Products (UPIC: ADGPROMO) employees wore pink on October 23 to show their support for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The supplier also made a $2,500 donation to the foundation to support its efforts.

PPAI’s Tim Brown, MAS, Joins Indoff To Discuss Product Safety Awareness

PPAI Product Responsibility Manager Tim Brown, MAS, joined Indoff, Inc. (UPI:C Indoff) at its national sales meeting in St. Charles, Missouri, in October to speak on product safety awareness. Several of the St. Louis distributor’s sales partners arrived a day early to receive the four-hour training. An additional session was offered the following day during the scheduled education program.

Sourcing City Marketplace 2015 Draws Industry Suppliers, Distributors From The UK And Abroad

Sourcing City (UPIC: SCITY) brought industry suppliers and distributor company leaders together in October for Sourcing City Marketplace 2015 at the FIVE Show Centre in Farnborough, UK. Now in its fifth year, the two-day trade event is by invitation only for promotional merchandise industry VIPs. Those in attendance represented distributor companies with revenues in excess of £250,000 ($387,000).

The combination of pre-booked appointments and meetings during the show’s Runaround Sessions ensured that more than 2,000 focused conversations took place.
