Each year, Pure Storage rewards hundreds of its top sales leaders with a trip to an exotic location, but with travel severely restricted during the pandemic, the company needed a memorable alternative. Instead, they opted to provide a creative and nostalgic travel bag plus an IOU for a later trip of the recipient’s choosing.

Austin, Texas-based distributor Boundless (PPAI 267078, D11) sourced a fully custom leather duffel, similar to those once carried by Pan Am flight attendants in the ’60s and ’70s, emblazoned with a custom “Pure Air” globe logo to match. Made in Pure Storage’s trademark bright orange, the bags featured a custom step-and-repeat liner and enclosed additional travel items, including coordinated passport wallets, luggage tags and more – as well as an 18-month travel voucher, good for any destination.

The surprise gift created a memorable experience for Pure Storage sales leaders and continued the company’s reward tradition.
