In Memoriam / Dawn Lucchesi
Dawn Lucchesi, a sales executive with the Vernon Company, passed away on February 22 after a long illness.
Lucchesi’s background in the promotional products industry included time at Awardcraft from 1995 to 2005, joining Vernon shortly thereafter. She was also an involved volunteer at her regional association, the Upper Midwest Association of Promotional Professionals (UMAPP). Her volunteerism with UMAPP began with a committee chair position and she worked her way up to board member, secretary, treasurer, vice president and president.
In a statement, UMAPP notes, “Dawn was a friend to all, and a mentor to many. Her kind, loving spirit, uplifting, positive attitude and quick humor will be missed greatly by the industry and all of her peers.”
Lucchesi is survived by her husband, Dino, and two sons.
