How did your company get its start?

I am a born entrepreneur. When the world sees problems, I see solutions. But as a single mom, I knew solutions don’t pay the bills. In 2015, I took a job in the pharmaceutical industry. Two months in, a 10-drink order from Starbucks changed my life. Frustrated with the flimsy cardboard drink carriers they provided, I decided to buy a better solution. When I couldn’t find one, I created one, and bevee was born: the world’s only patented, reusable drink carrier.

I spent the first five years self-funding the project. In 2020, dealing with the pandemic, I decided to set out on a manifestation journey to change my life forever. I grew my team, fired my corporate job in March 2021 and launched bevee in June of 2022. We have a six-cup version coming out in 2023 and three more drink-related projects in the pipeline. 

What led your company to enter the promotional products market?

Knowing the surface of bevee is a walking billboard and perfect for branding, I began researching the promotional products industry in February 2022. I had no idea how huge this industry is, but I have been so impressed and so grateful for all the help, guidance, encouragement and embrace I have received from some of the most well-respected veterans in the industry. 

What’s your favorite thing about being in the promotional products industry?

My favorite thing about this industry is how it truly feels like a family. Everyone is a cheerleader for each other, and this industry really embraces one of my mantras better than any industry I’ve been involved with: There is enough for everybody.

Why did you join PPAI?

Having a brand-new product solving a problem that has existed for as old as time comes with its challenges. Brand awareness is key in this industry that has millions of products to compete with. Outside of being asked when I’m going on Shark Tank, the No. 1 advice I was given was to join PPAI and participate in the January trade show, which I was thrilled to be a part of.
